Fuzzy neural networks

Fuzzy logic was invented to model uncertain data which is very common in real life, especially in human thinking and decision. Applying fuzzy logic to neural network sounds really promising as this combination can approximate a very complex fuzzy data. However, we do not see fuzzy neural networks widely used and the related research results on this field is preliminary. In this work, we study different works on fuzzy neural network to find out the challenges of this combination and the potential directions.
