Over time, the association attracted many retired faculty and staff members. In 2004, under the direction of the Ministry of Education and Training, the <\/span>Vietnam Association of Retired Educators<\/b> was officially established, with the HUST branch being one of its founding members. Given the large number of retired personnel at the university, local branches (Chi h\u1ed9i) were set up within each faculty or unit.<\/span><\/p>\n In 2006, the <\/span>Mathematics and Informatics Branch<\/b> was established with 45 members from the then <\/span>Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Informatics<\/b> and the <\/span>Faculty of Information Technology<\/b> (now the <\/span>Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics<\/b> and the <\/span>School of Information and Communication Technology<\/b>).<\/span><\/p>\n The branch has served as a bridge connecting retired faculty with current staff and alumni from both the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics and the School of ICT. Through this connection, the branch has carried out meaningful activities under the motto: <\/span>“Living healthily, happily, and usefully.”<\/b><\/p>\n As of 2013, the branch had 65 members, including:<\/span><\/p>\n Due to the growing number of retirees, and to better align activities with the organizational structure, the branch was officially <\/span>split into two separate branches<\/b> in 2013 \u2014 one under each respective school or faculty. The <\/span>Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics Branch<\/b> currently consists of <\/span>40 members<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n The <\/span>Retired Educators\u2019 Branch of the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics<\/b> continues to be an active and meaningful part of the community, contributing valuable support to academic activities and the development of the Faculty, HUST, and the nation.<\/span> Introduction to the Retired Educators\u2019 Association The Retired Educators\u2019 Association of Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) originated from the \u201cRetired Staff Club\u201d established in 1994.
