Admission Method<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Application and portfolio-based selection.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>II. Program Format<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Full-time study.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Standard study duration: 3\u20134 years for applicants with a master\u2019s degree; 4 years for applicants with a bachelor\u2019s degree.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>III. Eligibility and Admission Requirements<\/b><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><b> Academic qualifications:<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">a) Applicants must have:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A master\u2019s degree, or<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A bachelor\u2019s degree with a <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Very Good<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> or higher classification, or<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">An equivalent qualification at Level 7 of the Vietnamese National Qualifications Framework, relevant to the doctoral program applied for.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">b) Applicants must demonstrate research experience through at least one of the following:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A research-oriented master\u2019s thesis,<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Authorship or co-authorship of a published scientific paper or conference presentation,<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At least two years (24 months) of experience working as a lecturer or researcher at a recognized educational or scientific institution.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><b> Foreign language proficiency:<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Vietnamese applicants:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Must demonstrate language proficiency through one of the following:<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> a) A bachelor\u2019s degree or higher awarded by a foreign institution, a foreign university branch in Vietnam, or a Vietnamese institution with full-time programs taught in a foreign language;<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> b) A bachelor\u2019s degree in a foreign language awarded by a Vietnamese institution;<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> c) A valid foreign language certificate (according to Appendix II or equivalent) at Level 4 or higher of the Vietnamese 6-level Foreign Language Proficiency Framework, recognized by the Ministry of Education and Training.
